Amish Country Casserole equals comfort food!! Hamburger, Tomato soup, cream of mushroom, onion, garlic, milk, Worcestershire sauce, pasta and parmesan cheese. Makes this the perfect combination for a successful dinner.

Are you looking for a casserole you make can be made ahead of time or freeze it for later? This is it!  It’s a quick and easy weeknight meal. Throw the casserole together, don’t bake it, cover it with foil and put it in the freezer.

This any moms dream dish!  It’s the perfect all on it’s own but a leafy green salad and a dinner roll will make it complete!

 

 

Amish Country Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 oz.) bag medium bow tie noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (10.75 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1 (10.5 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 to 3 minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

 

directions

  • Preheat oven to 350f degrees. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Cook pasta according to package directions and drain well.
  • In a large skillet, cook onions for a couple minutes and then add beef. Crumble ground beef. Drain grease.
  • In a large bowl stir together tomato soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic and dried onion flakes.
  • Finally, stir in cooked pasta and ground beef. Spread mixture into prepared baking dish.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes.
  • Then top with grated Parmesan cheese and serve with garlic bread and salad.
