We had so much fun yesterday! We had a big party for the Super Bowl! My team didn’t win but that’s okay because, we had delicious food! It’s always so much fun because everyone in the family loves to cook and actually they love to compete to have the best dish!

It was my daughter in laws birthday, so she chose a theme for the menu. Amber decided on ultimate sandwiches for the main course and then we all brought a dish to compliment the spread.  The sandwiches that made the cut, sourdough BLT sliders, Monte Cristo’s, Korean Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Tomato Capri, and Focaccia Italian sandwich. It was incredible!!!!

I decided to make a charcuterie board for my side. I love holidays and I thought it was a fun way to bring different snacks for different tastes. It was a hit! This isn’t just perfect for Valentine’s day but would be so cute for birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, and the list goes on.

How to Make a Charcuterie Board for Valentine’s Day

The best way to think about this is to think pink, red and white! I think anything goes! Here are the items I used:

• popcorn
• animal crackers
• chocolate covered strawberries
• raspberries
• heart shaped cookies
• m&m’s
• conversation hearts
• chocolate hearts

• heart shaped watermelon pieces
• grapes
• white chocolate covered pretzels
• sugar cookies
• cherry nibs
• chocolate covered cherries
• cheeses

The great thing is that the possibilities are endless! Just have fun!!!
