Favorite Laundry Hacks
Here are my Favorite Laundry Hacks to help you get through those toddler years.

First one is to use distilled white vinegar helps your laundry look clean and bright each time it comes out of the washer. Here are a few ways you can use it when doing your laundry.
- Add 1 cup of vinegar to the final rinse cycle, it helps remove excess detergent. Helps the clothes look clean white and bright and helps it be less scratchy. It also can help make odors disappear.
- Use vinegar to help remove stains as a pre-treatment.
Keep your socks from getting lost by using a mesh laundry sack to keep your socks together so that you don’t lose them in your clothes. It will help keep all those mini socks from getting misplaced.
Need a load dried quickly? Add a few dry towels to absorb some water and help dry faster.

Forgot to iron your shirt? You have wrinkles? Did you know you can turn your dryer on high and add a few ice cubes and run the cycle for about 10 minutes and it will remove the wrinkles. Now you can wear your favorite shirt.

Do smaller loads. This allows the clothes to tumble and mix with the water and detergent and come out as clean as possible. Then they dry better in the dryer and come out less wrinkled. It helps with the whole process even though at times it seems better to do more and it’s faster it’s not. You’re stuff will be cleaner, and dry faster and have less wrinkles.
Buy a Fels-Naptha bar soap. It’s literally the best stain remover there is. I learned this from playing softball and having to get red dirt out of white pants. This stuff works on just about anything. We love this so much especially with my kiddos. Ellie got food dye all over her dance outfit and it came right out.
