Crockpot Asian Chicken Thighs
🍯🥢 Crockpot Asian Chicken Thighs — Sweet, Savory, and So Simple
“Because dinner should be as easy as ‘set it and forget it’… but still taste like you worked magic.”

This Crockpot Asian Chicken Thighs recipe is the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and just a hint of tang — all wrapped up in a glossy sauce that clings to every bite. The slow cooker does all the heavy lifting, leaving you with tender, juicy chicken and a sauce so good you’ll want to drizzle it over everything in sight.
It’s:
- Effortless — minimal prep, maximum flavor.
- Family-friendly — picky eaters will be too busy licking their plates to complain.
- Versatile — serve over rice, noodles, or even lettuce wraps.
We love healthy recipes that are quick and easy and our kids are always willing to eat chicken and rice. This was a delicious and quick dinner, it took about 3 1/2 hours in the crockpot.
I can sometimes send Matt the recipe and he’ll put it together. Hope you’ll like it as much as we did.

- Taste the sauce before serving — adjust with extra soy for saltiness or honey for sweetness.
- Use fresh garlic and ginger if you can — the flavor is brighter.
- Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.
🎨 Recipe Variations
- Spicy Kick — Add 1–2 tsp sriracha or chili paste to the sauce.
- Citrus Twist — Stir in 1 Tbsp orange juice and zest before cooking.
- Veggie Boost — Add bell peppers, broccoli, or snap peas in the last hour.
- Peanut Style — Whisk in 2 Tbsp peanut butter for a Thai-inspired twist.
- Sesame Sprinkle — Garnish with toasted sesame seeds for crunch.
