I love grilling. I made Matt get me a grill for my birthday because it’s literally the best thing ever. I’ve always been a fan of teriyaki and this has been my favorite that I’ve come up with. You’ll love this as much as I do, I’m sure. My boys even eat it and so I’ll count it as kid friendly!

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • tablespoons distilled white vinegar
  • tablespoons vegetable oil
  • teaspoons garlic powder
  • teaspoon grated fresh ginger

  1. Whisk together all the ingredients in a large bowl. Place the chicken or steak of choice in the bowl or ziploc bag. I prefer chicken thighs especially if I’m grilling.
  2. Marinade for 2 to 8 hours.
  3. Grill until the chicken reaches 160 internal temperature!

I love summer! It doesn’t feel like summer until you’ve corn on the cob! We bought a little charcoal grill from Walmart, I can’t wait until we can afford a bigger one, but charcoal gives great flavor! This is the best grilled corn ever so give it a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
