Oreo Dump Cake
Sometimes you want a great dessert with minimal effort, Oreo Dump Cake is the dessert for you!
I had a ton of Oreo’s leftover from a previous cupcake recipe and I was out of eggs. I had all of these ingredients at my house and I went for it. You will not regret this cake! It’s literally the best dump cake I have ever had in my life! I ate way too much and I still don’t regret it. Bonus, a cake that doesn’t require eggs is always a win!
- 28 Oreo cookies, divided use (6 cookies are used for topping)
- 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 16 ounce tub whipped topping (Cool Whip) thawed
- 15.25 ounce box milk chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 cup salted butter, cold and thinly sliced
Preheat the oven to 350F degrees and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
Arrange the Oreos in a single layer in the pan. The amount needed may vary depending on the pan, but likely 18 to 22 will be used.
Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the top of the Oreos then spread half the thawed whipped topping over the top.
Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix over the top as evenly as possible.
Arrange the butter slices in an evenly layer on top of the cake mix.
Bake for 45 minutes.
- Allow to cool and then top with remaining Cool Whip and broken up remaining Oreos.
