Raspberry Lemonade

Raspberry Lemonade  is the combination of sweet and tart! What a great way to beat the Summer heat!

Raspberry Lemonade

Boy has it been hot around here lately!  Just trying to stay cool is a challenge.  When you think of Summer, you know that a big glass of ice cold lemonade is in your future!

I don’t know if you are like me, but you don’t think to make it at home because you think that it will take too long. It’s really simple to make and you know what they say…..homemade is better and they are right!

Raspberry Lemonade

Raspberry Lemonade

  • 4 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 bag frozen raspberries
  • Ice cubes, for serving

  1. Squeeze the lemons and pour the juice into a pitcher. Mix together the sugar with 3 cups water and stir to dissolve to make a syrup. Add the syrup to the lemon juice and top it up with 8 cups water. Taste to make sure it's sweet enough for you, and then add the raspberries. Mix the lemonade together and let chill in the fridge. (Keep in mind that the raspberries are tart, so be sure to sweeten enough!)

If you decide to use bottle lemon juice, just use 2 cups of lemon juice

Flavored Party Water! When we had Greyson’s birthday a couple of weeks ago we opted for flavored party water. The alternative was Root beer in glass bottles. This was much cheaper and effective.
