My girls love Strawberry Lemonade! Every time we go out for dinner at a restaurant, they order strawberry lemonade. I don’t know about you but I usually think it tastes watered down. It still is good but this recipe will outshine any mixture you have had in the past! The strawberry and lemon flavors will make your taste buds happy!
- 1/2 pound fresh strawberries, stems removed
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 1/2-5 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups fresh-squeezed lemon juice
Use a blender or food processor to puree the strawberries.
In a small saucepan, over medium heat, stir together sugar and 2 cups water.
Bring to a boil, and stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
Strain the lemon juice through a fine-mesh sieve into a 2-quart pitcher. Add simple syrup and pureed strawberries and stir to combine. Refrigerate until cold.
When ready to serve, add 2 1/2 cups of cold water and stir. Taste, and add more water if it’s too sweet.
- Serve with ice.

When we had Greyson’s birthday a couple of weeks ago we opted for flavored party water. The alternative was Rootbeer in glass bottles. This was much cheaper and effective.
Creamy Brazilian Lemonade Recipe that my friend Ann made for us a few weeks ago. I’m not sure why it’s called lemonade, because there aren’t any lemons, but it’s super delicious and you’re definitely going to want to make some for your next bbq! It went so fast, and the kids kept trying to sneak more!
