In the summer lemonade is a staple for our family! Matt loves to buy a big bag of lemons and make fresh lemonade and slushies for the boys! Since we had lemons from the lemon cookies a couple weeks ago, we had delicious lemons and decided to make slashes for the kids.

Grey is always wanting that lemonade! My kids don’t really drink pop but they love lemonade! This recipe is easy to adapt into raspberry or strawberry lemonade, just added strawberries when you’re blending it!

Ingredients
  • 4 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 3/4 sugar
  • Zest from 2 lemons
  • 6 cups of ice

Directions
  1. Put all the things in the blender and mix until all the ice is crushed!
  2. We added that much sugar, slowly until we reached our desired sweet to sour ratio. You can add more or less based on your preference.
