Homemade Nutella Ice Cream

Homemade ice cream is the best thing in the world, especially on a hot August day. Homemade Nutella Ice Cream is freaking delicious!

Since I got pregnant I can not eat much. In fact, if I cook something for dinner, I’m mostly going to throw up and then not want to eat what I cooked. Matt is being so patient with me but I feel so lame. He made the most delicious vanilla ice cream a month or so ago and I threw it up. Therefore the smell of vanilla made me want to vomit for weeks. I really wanted rocky road ice cream the other day and we didn’t have the things we needed so this was the compromise. I definitely feel like it was a huge win!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 2/3 cups Heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a blender, mix ingredients until the mixture is smooth. Then refrigerate until cold.
  2. Then freeze in your ice cream maker as directed by the instructions. The put in the freezer until solid. About 4 to 6 hours.
