I know it’s cold outside, but I really wanted something yummy and grilled, so I tortured the husband by banishing him to the cold patio to grill some shrimp and pineapple for our family. I don’t think it bothered him too much, because he’s pretty much the most patient person ever, and because he loves shrimp!
In fact, our whole family loves shrimp! Our kids are little seafood monsters, it’s getting pricey! They LOVE crab, shrimp, and now they’re starting to love sushi. I’m glad they’re not too picky, but sometimes I wish I could just throw a cheap bowl of fried rice in front of them without them begging for their own sushi, haha!
Anyway, back to these fresh and delicious shrimp!
They’re marinated with fresh garlic, soy, honey, and Balsamic vinegar. But the great thing is you don’t have to have a lot of time to let them soak, in fact, marinating them too long could be a problem. So this recipe is perfect, even if you’re short on time.
