Summer is officially in full swing now with Memorial Day over. Here are my Summer Mom Must-Haves!

Summer is a whole different beast with me home now there is more things I need to get for our house. There are some obvious things on my shopping list and some that I don’t always remember until later. Summer is fun and crazy all wrapped into one.      Sunscreen – Obviously. However, I swear you can’t have enough, we go through it so fast. Also, sometimes it’s hard to find when we’re all over the place. We bought ours at Costco.

Summer Mom Must Haves

    Sunglasses & Hats for Kids – Even though the sunglasses get lost frequently, they are worth it for the kids. My kids hate the bright sun and hats are great for keeping the sun off their face as well.     Easy quick Drinks – Capri suns, gatorade and other small quick drinks are perfect for keeping the kids hydrated. I love having stuff that’s easy and accessible for the kids to grab and drink. Especially with four little kids I’m constantly getting asked for drinks.   Snacks – We bought some Gold fish, Scooby snacks, fruit pouches, but we also, have bags of carrots and fruit, energy bites and string cheese. Then the kids have snacks they can grab at any time.     Costco Blow Up Slides – Worth every penny with the crazy kids. We got a Gator one last year and we have definitely got our money’s worth. The kids will play for hours on it. It’s such a fun thing. We copied my sister, she bought a big slide and so now everyone has to have one. Here’s a similar one from Amazon!      Reusable Water balloons & Squirt guns – These go without saying but they are really fun. Anything water is always a success at our house.

Summer Mom Must Haves

    Calendula Cream – My grandma used have this magical cream that she got from Nature Sunshine called AC healing cream and it was the best for sunburns and bruises and scrapes. It was made of Arnica and Calendula and so it’s hard to find a cream that has both so I buy them separate. There is nothing better for burns in my opinion.     First Aid Kit – This is a great first aid kit to keep in your car for when you need it. It has just about everything you could need to help with your kids bumps and bruises.
