Friday Favorites — November Week 1 #fridayfavs #productreviews #november

HELLO, GIRLFRIENDS! ❤️

Well, well, well…

LOOK WHO SHOWED UP!

NOVEMBER! 🦃🎄

And she didn’t come quietly.

Oh no.

She came carrying Christmas catalogs, Thanksgiving recipes, holiday decorations, and approximately 47 reminders that we need to start shopping.

Can somebody PLEASE explain how we went from Halloween candy to Christmas gift lists in approximately twelve minutes?!

Because I’m still finding candy wrappers in the house, and somehow we’re already discussing who is bringing the rolls to Thanksgiving dinner.

THE ROLLS, PEOPLE!

This is serious business. 😂

But you know what?

I absolutely LOVE November.

There’s something magical about this month.

The cooler mornings.

The cozy sweaters.

The smell of something delicious baking.

The anticipation of Thanksgiving.

The Christmas decorations starting to appear.

The excitement of finding that perfect gift for someone you love.

And of course…

THE FOOD!

Oh, the FOOD.

November is basically one long invitation to eat something delicious.

And we’re accepting. 😂

But here’s what makes this month especially wonderful.

It’s the beginning of that season when we start thinking a little more about the people we love.

What would make Mom smile?

What would Grandma treasure?

What would the grandkids absolutely LOVE?

What can we make for Thanksgiving that will have everybody asking for seconds?

And how can we make the holidays feel special without completely losing our minds?

Because girlfriends…

WE WANT HOLIDAY MAGIC, NOT HOLIDAY EXHAUSTION!

That’s exactly what this week’s Friday Favorites is all about!

We’re sharing delicious holiday food, festive drinks, fun entertainment, a cozy book, holiday decorating ideas, beauty favorites, and FIVE exciting shopping finds inspired by what’s popular this holiday season.

Plus, we’ve got a sweet treat, a family activity, a weekend challenge, and a little reminder about what really matters.

So grab your favorite snack.

Get comfortable.

And maybe hide your credit card.

Because this week’s shopping finds are TEMPTING! 😂🛍️

🛒 Favorite Trader Joe’s Find

🍁 Maple Butter

Organic Maple Butter | Trader Joe's

Okay, Trader Joe’s.

We need to talk.

Because every time we walk into your store, we somehow leave with things we didn’t know existed.

And honestly?

We’re not even mad about it. 😂

This week’s seasonal favorite to look for is Trader Joe’s Maple Butter.

If you’ve never tried maple butter, imagine the rich, sweet flavor of maple syrup in a thick, spreadable form.

And suddenly breakfast becomes a WHOLE EVENT.

Spread it on warm toast.

Add it to pancakes.

Swirl it into oatmeal.

Use it on waffles.

Or serve it alongside warm homemade rolls.

And here’s where things get interesting…

THANKSGIVING BREAKFAST!

Because before everyone sits down for the big holiday feast, somebody is inevitably going to ask:

“What’s for breakfast?”

And apparently telling them to wait until Thanksgiving dinner isn’t an acceptable answer. 😂

👩‍🍳 Lou Lou Tip

Make a little holiday breakfast board with warm biscuits, sliced apples, butter, jam, and maple butter.

It’s easy, beautiful, and perfect for Thanksgiving morning.

Seasonal Trader Joe’s products can vary by store, so check availability before planning around them.

What’s your favorite Trader Joe’s holiday find?

We need suggestions, girlfriends!

It’s baking something that makes the whole house smell AMAZING!

Enter our Lou Lou Girls Cranberry Orange Cookies!

These little beauties are everything a holiday cookie should be.

Sweet.

Buttery.

Bright with orange flavor.

Filled with tart cranberries.

And finished with a delicious white chocolate drizzle.

Basically, they showed up to the Christmas cookie party wearing their fanciest outfit. 😂

And we’re here for it!

There’s something about the combination of cranberries and oranges that feels so festive.

They’re beautiful on a cookie platter.

Perfect for neighbor gifts.

Wonderful for holiday parties.

And just fancy enough to make people think you spent hours in the kitchen.

Which, let’s be honest…

We don’t necessarily need to correct. 😂

👩‍🍳 Lou Lou Tip

Make these cookies part of your holiday baking tradition!

Package a few in clear treat bags, tie them with pretty ribbon, and add a little handwritten note.

Instant thoughtful neighbor gift!

You can also freeze baked cookies without the drizzle and decorate them closer to serving time.

❤️ Why We’re Loving It This Week

These cookies are perfect for getting ahead on holiday baking.

And the combination of cranberry, orange, and white chocolate makes them stand out from the usual chocolate chip and sugar cookies.

Not that we would EVER turn down a chocolate chip cookie.

We’re not monsters. 😂

We’re bringing a little elegance to November!

It’s completely non-alcoholic!

📺 Favorite TV Show

🎄 Home for Christmas

Home for Christmas (TV Series 2019–2025) - IMDb

November means we’re officially entering cozy television season.

And this week we’re adding Home for Christmas to our watch list!

This Norwegian romantic comedy-drama follows a woman dealing with family expectations, relationships, and the pressure of bringing someone home for Christmas.

And let’s be honest…

Holiday family expectations can be a WHOLE THING. 😂

It’s charming, funny, romantic, and filled with those awkward holiday situations that make you laugh.

Because apparently no matter where you live, family gatherings come with questions.

Lots of questions.

🍿 Lou Lou Tip

Make a cozy holiday TV night with popcorn, warm blankets, and your favorite treats.

And if you want to get extra festive?

THIS IS IT! 🎄🎶

“Underneath the Tree” by Kelly Clarkson is upbeat, festive, and absolutely packed with Christmas energy.

It’s the kind of song that comes on while you’re cleaning the kitchen, and suddenly you’re performing a full concert with a spatula.

Not that we’ve ever done that.

Okay.

We absolutely have. 😂

Can we talk about something?

The holidays are WONDERFUL.

But sometimes they also come with approximately a MILLION decisions.

What should we buy?

What should we cook?

Who should we invite?

When should we decorate?

How are we going to fit everything into the calendar?

And why does everybody suddenly need an answer RIGHT NOW?! 😂

That’s why this week’s podcast pick is The Next Right Thing with Emily P. Freeman.

It’s a thoughtful podcast about decision-making, slowing down, and creating space for what matters.

And honestly?

That sounds like something we could all use heading into the holiday season.

🎧 Lou Lou Tip

Listen while taking a walk or getting ready in the morning.

Then ask yourself one simple question:

“What’s the next right thing I can do today?”

Not everything.

Just one thing.

Because sometimes that’s enough.

THIS ONE SOUNDS LIKE A FUN TIME! 🎄❤️

🛍️ Favorite Holiday Shopping Finds

🎁 FIVE POPULAR GIFT IDEAS THAT MADE US SAY, “OKAY…WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THESE!”

Okay, girlfriends.

THIS IS THE SECTION WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR! 😂🛍️

Holiday shopping season is HERE.

And we’re not talking about another pair of ordinary socks.

Although, to be fair, good socks are pretty fabulous.

We’re talking about gift ideas that are clever, interesting, useful, and FUN!

Things that make people say:

“WAIT…WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT?!”

This year’s holiday gift trends are leaning toward creativity, nostalgia, hands-on activities, and gifts that feel personal.

And we’ve found five ideas worth putting on the shopping list!

✨ 1. Ninja SLUSHi Frozen Drink Maker — The Ultimate Family Party Gift!

Okay, STOP EVERYTHING!

A machine that makes frozen slushies at HOME?!

WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL OUR LIVES?! 😂

The Ninja SLUSHi turns compatible drinks into delicious frozen treats without needing to add ice.

Imagine strawberry lemonade slushies for the grandkids, frozen fruit punch at Christmas parties, or a refreshing treat on a hot summer afternoon.

And because we love a good family gathering, this is the kind of gift that could become the star of every party!

Lou Lou Tip: Create a frozen drink station with fun cups, colorful straws, and fruit garnishes. Follow the machine’s recipe requirements for the best results.

Remember when taking a picture meant actually having a PHYSICAL PHOTO?

Not just 47,000 pictures sitting on your phone?

Well, instant cameras are making memories feel extra fun again!

A Fujifilm Instax camera lets you take pictures and print them instantly.

Imagine using one at Thanksgiving!

Family pictures.

Funny moments.

Grandkids making silly faces.

Everyone gathered around the table.

And then sending people home with a little photo from the day.

HOW CUTE IS THAT?! 📸❤️

📸 Lou Lou Tip

Create a Thanksgiving memory station with an instant camera, photo film, and a little guestbook.

Let everyone take a picture and write something they’re grateful for.

Now THAT is a tradition worth keeping.

✨ 3. Toniebox 2 — A Screen-Free Gift for the Grandkids!

Okay, GRANDMAS!

THIS ONE IS FOR US! ❤️

The Toniebox 2 is an interactive audio player designed for children, with stories, songs, and audio adventures.

Instead of handing the grandkids another screen, you can give them something that encourages listening, imagination, and independent play.

And you know what makes it even sweeter?

You can choose different Tonies characters based on the stories and music they love.

Lou Lou Tip: Wrap the player with an age-appropriate favorite character so the fun can begin right away.

Because a gift that keeps the grandkids entertained?

THAT’S A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE! 😂

✨ 5. Skylight Digital Family Calendar — The Gift for the Family That Has EVERYTHING Going On!

If your family calendar looks like somebody threw spaghetti at the wall…

YOU NEED TO SEE THIS! 😂

The Skylight digital calendar helps families organize schedules, appointments, activities, and household routines in one place.

Think school events.

Dance practice.

Sports.

Family dinners.

Doctor appointments.

Holiday parties.

And approximately 47 other things that somehow all happen on the SAME DAY!

It’s a practical gift for busy families who want an easier way to see what’s coming up.

Lou Lou Tip: Before gifting, check the model’s features and whether any extras require a subscription.

❤️ Why We’re Loving These Finds

This week’s picks have something for everyone!

A fun family appliance.

A trendy everyday gift.

Something cozy for winter.

A screen-free surprise for the grandkids.

And an organizer for busy households.

Because the BEST gifts aren’t always the fanciest.

Sometimes they’re the ones that make everyday life a little easier—or a whole lot more FUN

💄 Favorite Beauty Find

✨ Korean Skincare Gift Sets

Okay, ladies.

Can we talk about how FUN skincare has become?!

This year’s holiday gift guides are full of Korean skincare products and gift sets.

We’re talking hydrating masks, gentle cleansers, moisturizers, and cute little skincare bundles.

And while we love a good beauty find…

We especially love something that feels like a little spa night at home.

Because sometimes the best holiday gift is permission to RELAX.

💄 Lou Lou Tip

Look for a gift set that matches the recipient’s skin type and preferences.

A gentle moisturizer, hydrating mask, and soft headband can make a thoughtful little self-care basket.

And if you’re shopping for yourself?

Well…

WE SUPPORT THAT DECISION! 😂

💬 Question

Would you rather receive a skincare gift set or a new makeup bag filled with goodies?

🏡 Favorite Home Find

🎄 Velvet Christmas Ribbon

Okay.

This might be one of the EASIEST ways to make holiday decorating look beautiful.

VELVET RIBBON!

We’re talking rich burgundy.

Deep forest green.

Chocolate brown.

Classic Christmas red.

And gorgeous champagne tones.

Tie it around wreaths.

Add it to garlands.

Make bows for your Christmas tree.

Use it on gifts.

Decorate candleholders.

Or tie a little bow around a napkin at your holiday table.

Suddenly everything looks more elegant.

And you didn’t have to buy an entirely new collection of decorations.

WE LOVE A SMART DECORATING MOMENT! 😂

🏡 Lou Lou Tip

Choose one or two ribbon colors and repeat them throughout your home.

It creates a beautiful, coordinated look without making everything match perfectly.

💬 Holiday Decorating Question

Are you a traditional RED AND GREEN Christmas girl?

Or do you love neutral, elegant holiday decorating?

Which is completely TRUE. 😂

🎄 Favorite Holiday Activity

❤️ Host a Friendsgiving Dessert Night

Order Desserts By Night | Menu & Prices | Melbourne Delivery | Uber Eats

Okay, this idea is SO MUCH FUN!

Instead of hosting an entire Thanksgiving dinner, invite a few friends or family members over for a simple dessert night.

Everybody brings one favorite Thanksgiving dessert.

You provide plates, napkins, drinks, and maybe a little whipped cream.

DONE!

No turkey.

No elaborate side dishes.

No spending six hours in the kitchen.

Just good desserts and great company.

🍰 Lou Lou Tip

Have everyone bring a printed copy of their recipe.

Set up a little recipe exchange so everybody goes home with something new to try.

And here’s a fun twist…

Have everyone vote on the dessert they’d most like to see again next year!

💬 Question

Would you rather host a full Thanksgiving dinner or a Thanksgiving dessert party?

🕯️ Favorite Little Luxury

✨ A Cozy Holiday Reading Night

Think reading in English is too difficult for you? Think again! - AllTalk Training

This week’s little luxury doesn’t require a big shopping trip.

It’s simply taking one evening to SLOW DOWN.

Put on your favorite pajamas.

Grab a soft blanket.

Make a warm drink.

Turn on some gentle holiday lights.

And read something wonderful.

No scrolling.

No shopping.

No worrying about everything you still need to do.

Just a quiet evening.

And maybe a cookie.

Okay.

Definitely a cookie. 😂

❤️ Lou Lou Tip

Choose one evening this month and make it your own little holiday reset.

Sometimes the best way to enjoy the busy season is to create a little quiet in the middle of it.

🎯 Weekend Challenge — The Five-Gift Head Start

Easy Christmas Gift Ideas to Wow Anyone on Your List

We’re getting ORGANIZED this weekend!

But don’t panic.

We’re not making a spreadsheet with 47 different tabs.

Unless you love spreadsheets.

Then you do you. 😂

This weekend’s challenge is simple.

Choose FIVE people on your Christmas gift list.

Write down one thoughtful gift idea for each person.

That’s it.

You don’t have to buy everything.

You don’t have to wrap anything.

Just make a plan.

Maybe it’s:

  • A meaningful photo gift for Grandma.
  • A creative activity for the grandkids.
  • A cozy gift for your best friend.
  • Something useful for your husband.
  • A little surprise for someone who could use extra love this year.

And here’s the fun part…

Try to make at least ONE of those gifts something personal.

Something connected to a memory.

A favorite hobby.

An inside joke.

Or a tradition.

Because thoughtful gifts don’t always have to be expensive.

💬 Your Challenge

Come back and tell us:

Who’s the HARDEST person on your Christmas shopping list?

The husband who says he doesn’t need anything?

The teenager who changes their mind every twelve minutes?

Or the person who already owns EVERYTHING?!

We need answers! 😂

❤️ This Week’s Happy Thought

🎄 The Best Gifts Usually Aren’t Wrapped

You know what I’ve been thinking about lately?

How much time we spend trying to find the perfect gifts.

We search.

We shop.

We compare prices.

We make lists.

We ask questions.

We try to remember sizes, favorite colors, and what everybody mentioned wanting six months ago.

And sometimes…

We put so much pressure on ourselves to find the perfect present that we forget something important.

The best gifts in life usually aren’t wrapped.

They’re the moments.

The memories.

The people.

The love.

They’re the phone calls that turn into hour-long conversations.

The family dinners where nobody wants to leave the table.

The little grandchild who climbs into your lap just because they want to be close.

The daughter who comes over and stays longer than she planned.

The husband who makes you laugh after a long day.

The friend who remembers to check on you.

The neighbor who shows up with a plate of cookies.

Those are gifts.

Real gifts.

And the funny thing is…

They’re usually the ones we remember the longest.

Think about your favorite Christmas memories.

Do you remember every single gift you received?

Probably not.

But I bet you remember how you FELT.

The excitement of Christmas morning.

The smell of breakfast cooking.

The sound of laughter coming from another room.

The familiar decorations.

The family traditions.

The anticipation.

The love.

And sometimes the things that seemed completely ordinary at the time become the memories we treasure most.

The year the Christmas tree leaned a little to one side.

The Thanksgiving dinner when the rolls were forgotten.

The family picture where nobody was looking at the camera.

The homemade gift that wasn’t perfect but meant everything.

The holiday when things didn’t go according to plan…

And somehow it became everyone’s favorite story.

That’s what makes this season so special.

Not perfection.

Not expensive gifts.

Not beautifully coordinated decorations.

Not an elaborate menu.

It’s being together.

And I think that’s something worth remembering as we head into the busiest months of the year.

We don’t have to do EVERYTHING.

We don’t have to buy EVERYTHING.

We don’t have to make every moment look like something from a magazine.

We just need to show up.

Be present.

Laugh.

Love.

Listen.

Take the pictures.

Make the cookies.

Invite the people.

Keep the traditions.

And maybe start a few new ones.

Because someday…

The people we love might not remember exactly what we gave them.

But they’ll remember that we made time for them.

They’ll remember the way we made them feel.

They’ll remember the traditions.

The laughter.

The love.

And all those beautiful little moments that made the holidays feel like HOME.

So here’s my wish for all of us this November.

Less rushing.

More enjoying.

Less worrying.

More laughing.

Less perfection.

More connection.

Let’s make this holiday season about the people who matter most.

Let’s make room for the little things.

Let’s find joy in the ordinary moments.

And let’s remember that the most meaningful gift we can give someone is often our time.

Our attention.

Our kindness.

Our love.

Because at the end of the day…

The best holiday memories aren’t the ones we buy. They’re the ones we make together. ❤️

Happy Friday, girlfriends!

Here’s to a November filled with delicious food, thoughtful gifts, cozy homes, happy hearts, wonderful memories, and plenty of reasons to laugh.

Now go make something delicious.

Do a little holiday shopping.

Hug somebody you love.

And maybe start that Christmas playlist.

Because November is officially HERE!

LET THE HOLIDAY MAGIC BEGIN! 🎄🦃❤️

See you next week for another round of Friday Favorites!

And remember…

SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! 😂💕
