Brown butter seems to be the star of so many recipes lately, and I can see why! Just cooking your butter a little longer, gives it such a rich and satisfying flavor.

I love recipes that taste like you have slaved away in the kitchen for hours and in all honesty, it only takes minutes to prepare. This beauty is one of those recipes. It’s simple enough to make for a weeknight family dinner but taste worthy that you can serve it at a dinner party.

TIPS AND TRICKS

PASTA: I love spaghetti noodles for this dish but if you don’t have any on hand, please feel free to use what you have.

PROTEIN: This dish would taste fabulous, if you want to add chicken, beef or Italian sausage.

MUSHROOMS: If your family doesn’t love mushrooms, leave them out! Just add your favorite vegetable. I would suggest zucchini, bell peppers or even broccoli.

ADD INS: I think a hearty nut would be fabulous in this! I’m thinking a pine nut, pumpkin seeds or heck, choose your favorite! If you love a little heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. It will be fabulous!!!
