How to Bake a Frozen Chicken Breast
Have you ever wondered how to bake a frozen chicken breast? There are so many questions, I tested it out, here are the answers!
Let’s be honest you can’t always be on the ball and have all the lunches and dinners planned for every night. It’s just unrealistic. You’ve sometimes just got to work with what you’ve got!
We’ve been buying chicken in bulk and then freezing the chicken with our favorite seasoning. I’ve been experimenting with the best way to bake these suckers and this is what I have come up with!
- Frozen chicken breast
- Favorite seasoning
- Olive oil
- Preheat the oven to 425ºF and cover a cookie sheet with tinfoil. For multiple reasons, easy clean up and it helps to not steam the chicken. Lightly oil the tinfoil.
- Since mine was pre-seasoned before freezing, lightly season again. We right the seasoning type on the Ziploc bag.
- Place on the baking sheet and spray with oil and put in the oven to bake 30-40 minutes. Until 165 degrees internal temperature.
- Once chicken reaches temperature pull out of the oven and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes and serve!
