Homemade Nacho Cheese

It’s softball season, time for hot dogs and nachos at the ballpark! I love nachos, even though I know that they are not the most healthy thing to eat in the world. Good nacho cheese is hard to come by. Well search no further. This is the best nacho cheese you can find!


Ingredients
4 tablespoons salted butter
4 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
16 oz of shredded sharp cheddar

Directions
1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat, once melted add the flour. Whisk until it creates a paste then add the milk, salt, cayenne, and garlic powder. Heat until it starts to thicken.
2. Slowly add the cheese and whisk until smooth.
