Slow Cooker Balsamic Pork
Matt got me a treadmill for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It’s exactly what I wanted! With it being the new year we are trying to eat a little more healthy and exercise more often.
It’s the season of softball open gyms and soon to be softball season, which is super exciting, however, there is no time to cook a healthy dinner. The slow cooker is where I’m going to live for the next couple of months.
We are doing our shopping on Saturdays and making a week-long menu so that we can have healthy good food on hand. So far this has been an absolute success. You should give this pork a try you won’t regret it!
2-pound boneless pork shoulder roast
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1. Dry rub the pork with salt and garlic powder, place in the crockpot.
2. Whisk together chicken broth, balsamic, and Worcestershire and then pour over the top of the pork. Then drizzle the honey on top of that.
3. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
