Chicken Parmesan Easy One Pot Meal
Grandma Julie is the biggest help when she comes to visit, and she also loves to cook. She’s #Saucesome with the kids too. She was teaching Max how to cut the broccoli, and he was so proud of himself. Sophie really wanted to help, but frankly, no one trusts her with a knife. Meal time is always a good time at our house. With three small kids that like to show off their comedy skills, especially when we have guests, it’s hard to get them to focus on the task at hand – eating dinner! But with a delicious tasting meal inspired by Ragú®, we were able to enjoy a family meal while still being silly. Not to mention the yummy garlic bread dipped in Ragú® Classic Alfredo that no one could resist. I’m pretty sure they would have drunk it if I would have let them!
See what I mean, we have a bunch of comedians around here! They think they’re really funny!
Easy One Pot Chicken Parmesan with Ragú® Chunky Tomato Garlic & Onion Sauce
5 chicken tenders
1 T garlic salt
1 T oil
1 jar of Ragú® Chunky Tomato Garlic & Onion Sauce
4 oz. of spaghetti noodles
2 cups of water
1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
parsley for garnish (optional)
Dice chicken into 1 inch bite-sized pieces. Season with garlic salt. Heat oil in heavy skillet. Cook chicken in oil until cooked through.
Remove chicken from the pot, and cover with foil so it will stay warm. Pour jar of Ragú® Chunky Tomato Garlic & Onion Sauce into pot with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Add spaghetti, break to fit into pan if needed.
Let sauce and spaghetti simmer until the noodles are soft, stirring frequently. Top with chicken, and parmesan and cover with a lid so the cheese will melt. Garnish with parsley if desired.
