This S’mores Cookie Dough Dip is everything you love about a campfire s’more — melty chocolate, sweet marshmallows, buttery graham crackers — but in a warm, scoopable, shareable form that’s perfect for parties, movie nights, or “just because” moments.

It’s:

  • Ridiculously easy — no fancy equipment, no complicated steps.
  • Crowd-pleasing — kids, teens, and adults will hover around the skillet.
  • Make-ahead friendly — prep it earlier, pop it in the oven when ready.
  • Customizable — add your own twist with mix-ins or toppings.

Let’s get straight to the delicious details.

When Lisa suggested that I make this dish, I was a skeptical. So many times I think I will love a s’more recipe but it just doesn’t meet up to my expectations.  Get your spoon, graham crackers and berries, this will blow your socks off!

Yes, it has such simple ingredients  that you have had so many times but when they come together and the power of the skillet, and it becomes a “moreish” recipe!

This would be so fun at any BBQ, party, after school or movie night and the best part it comes together so easy and you won’t miss out on a thing! Mom’s of teenagers, I do believe it has magical powers, your teens are going to spill their guts to you, while eating this dish! lol!

👩‍🍳 Cooking Tips for the Perfect Dip

  • Heat-treat your flour — microwave for 1 minute or bake at 350°F for 5 minutes to make it safe to eat raw.
  • Room temp butter — makes creaming with sugar easier and fluffier.
  • Don’t overbake — you want gooey, not dry. Marshmallows should be golden, not burnt.
  • Use a cast iron skillet — it holds heat beautifully and keeps the dip warm longer.
  • Serve immediately — this is best enjoyed warm and melty.

🎨 Recipe Variations

  • Peanut Butter Twist — swirl in 2 Tbsp peanut butter before baking.
  • Nutty Crunch — add chopped pecans or almonds to the cookie dough.
  • Salted Caramel — drizzle caramel sauce over the marshmallows before baking.
  • Mint Chocolate — swap chocolate chips for mint chips for a holiday vibe.
  • Gluten-Free — use GF graham crackers and almond flour.

🧒 Kid Tips

  • Let kids sprinkle the marshmallows — they’ll love “decorating” the top.
  • Serve in small ramekins for individual portions.
  • Pair with apple slices or strawberries for a fun dipping option.
  • Make it a “build your own” dessert bar with different toppings.

🛒 Grocery Hacks

  • Buy graham crackers in bulk — crush and store in a jar for quick recipes.
  • Mini marshmallows — keep a bag in the freezer; they thaw instantly.
  • Chocolate chips — stock up during holiday sales and freeze.
  • Butter — freeze sticks and thaw as needed to save money.
  • Vanilla extract — make your own by soaking vanilla beans in vodka for 6 weeks.

💭 Final Thoughts

This S’mores Cookie Dough Dip is pure joy in a skillet — a little nostalgic, a little indulgent, and a whole lot of fun. It’s the kind of dessert that makes people linger at the table, spoons in hand, laughing and going back for “just one more bite.”

Life’s too short to wait for the perfect campfire night — and honestly, why should gooey marshmallows, melty chocolate, and buttery graham crackers be limited to summer weekends? With this S’mores Cookie Dough Dip, you can bring all that nostalgic magic right into your kitchen any day of the year. No bug spray, no smoke in your hair, no chasing runaway marshmallows into the fire — just pure, sweet, melty happiness in a skillet.

This is the kind of dessert that doesn’t just feed people — it gathers them. You’ll watch as everyone leans in, spoons clinking, laughing between bites, and saying “just one more” until the pan is mysteriously empty. It’s a recipe that turns an ordinary Tuesday into a mini celebration, a family movie night into a memory, and a last-minute get-together into a “remember that time…” story.

And here’s the best part — it’s endlessly adaptable. You can make it your own with peanut butter swirls, caramel drizzles, or even a holiday peppermint twist. You can serve it with fruit for a lighter touch or go full dessert rebel with cookies and pretzels for dipping. You can prep it ahead for a party or whip it up on a whim when the craving hits.

So here’s my challenge to you: don’t just pin this recipe and forget about it. Make it. Share it. Tag it with #DipIntoSmoreFun so we can all drool together and cheer you on. Let’s fill our feeds — and our kitchens — with more joy, more chocolate, and more reasons to gather around something delicious.

Because some recipes aren’t just food — they’re a little bit of love, a little bit of fun, and a whole lot of “you have to try this.” And this one? This one’s a keeper. 🍫🔥💛
