Matthew once told me that Lasagna was his favorite food, but now I’m not so sure that this is true. We’ve tried so many different recipes now, I’m not sure what my favorite is anymore.

However, you can never go wrong with pasta. Anyways, this was the best recipe ever! Pre-cut lasagna servings! The first time I made my mom’s lasagna for Matt, I failed miserably.

It ended up being more like lasagna soup. This was definitely an upgrade! We both loved it! Click Here for the printable recipe!

Lasagna Rolls

Ingredients

16 lasagna noodles
1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
1/2 medium onion diced
3 cloves of garlic diced
2 tablespoons of oil
1 1/2 cups prego pasta sauce
2 containers of ricotta cheese
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 egg
1 cup of mozzarella
1/2 cup parmesan cheese blend

Topping
2 cups Prego pasta sauce
1 1/2 cups Mozzarella
1/2 cup parmesan cheese blend

Lasagna Rolls

🍽 Directions

Step 1: Prep the Noodles

  1. Boil lasagna noodles until al dente.
  2. Lay flat on parchment to cool.
  3. Try not to break them — they’re delicate little divas.

Step 2: Make the Beef Filling

  1. Heat oil in a skillet.
  2. Add onion + garlic; sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef; cook until browned.
  4. Add 1½ cups pasta sauce.
  5. Simmer 5 minutes.

Step 3: Make the Ricotta Mixture

  1. In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, Italian seasoning, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  2. Stir until creamy and irresistible.

Step 4: Assemble the Rolls

  1. Spread ricotta mixture onto each noodle.
  2. Add a spoonful of beef mixture.
  3. Roll gently from one end to the other.
  4. Place seam‑side down in a baking dish.

Step 5: Add the Topping

  1. Pour remaining pasta sauce over rolls.
  2. Sprinkle mozzarella + Parmesan.

Step 6: Bake

  1. Bake at 375°F for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  2. Let cool slightly before serving (or don’t — I support chaotic pasta energy).

💭 Final Thoughts

These Lasagna Rolls are everything you want in a cozy dinner: warm, cheesy, saucy, nostalgic, comforting, and ridiculously satisfying. They’re the kind of recipe that brings people together, sparks conversation, and makes everyone feel like they’re part of the fun.

They’re simple enough for a weeknight, impressive enough for a dinner party, and comforting enough for those “I need something delicious immediately” days.

There’s something magical about a pasta dish that tastes like classic lasagna but looks like a fancy little roll‑up. Something about ricotta, beef, mozzarella, and sauce swirling together that feels timeless, comforting, and just a little bit indulgent.

These Lasagna Rolls are the kind of recipe that becomes a tradition — the dish your family requests again and again, the one you bring to neighbors, the one you whip up when you want your home to smell like happiness.

It’s the kind of dinner that makes people linger at the table. The kind that makes your kitchen feel warm and welcoming. The kind that makes you feel like you’ve mastered the art of cozy cooking — even if you still set timers for everything.

So here’s your mission: Make these rolls. Share them with your people. Tell me your twist. Did you add spinach Did you add sausage Did you sneak a roll before serving (I support all of it.)

Until then, may your noodles stay intact, your cheese melt perfectly, your sauce bubble beautifully, and your kitchen fill with laughter, love, and second helpings.

Lasagna Rolls aren’t just dinner — they’re a lifestyle. 🍝✨
