Pulled pork is one of those dishes that just gets people. It’s comforting. It’s crowd‑pleasing. It’s the kind of meal that makes your kitchen smell like a BBQ joint in the best possible way.

But THIS pulled pork? This one goes beyond comfort. This one says, “Cancel your plans, grab a bun, and let’s have a moment.”

It’s:

  • Sweet
  • Smoky
  • Sticky
  • Tender
  • Slow‑cooked
  • Whiskey‑kissed
  • Easy
  • Crowd‑pleasing
  • And honestly? A little bit dangerous

It’s the kind of recipe that makes your family hover by the crockpot like hungry wolves. The kind that makes your neighbors “accidentally” stop by. The kind that makes you feel like a BBQ queen — even if you’re still wearing yesterday’s leggings.

Ingredients

Crock Pot Pulled Pork with Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce
~5 lbs. Pork (shoulder/butt)
2-3 clove of minced garlic
½ Tbsp. chili pepper paste
½ Tbsp. onion powder
1 tsp. black pepper
½ cup Jack Daniels Whiskey
3 cups Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce (see recipe)

Directions

Combine the spices and dry rub the meat real good. Pour
the whiskey into the crockpot and place pork on top of it. Pour the BBQ sauce
over the meat and let marinate in the fridge overnight covered with saran wrap.
Place crockpot in the cooker and cook on low heat for 6 hours, if you can after 6
hours remove meat and pull apart, then place the pulled meat back into the
crockpot so to soak up the juices, cook for another 1 hr. the meat should soak
up the meat. You can either drain the meat and add the additional cup of BBQ to
the crockpot or scoop out the meat and add BBQ to it in a bowl. Serve over a bun with a pickle on the side, enjoy.

  7. how many does this serve, if served as sandwiches? Also, what size crockpot is needed? I think I have a 1 qt, and I need to serve 10-15 people (15 to be safe, so there will be some extras to go around). This looks like the most inviting recipe I have found.
