Because let’s be honest for a minute.
Burgers are amazing.
They’re the unofficial food of summer. The hero of backyard BBQs. The one meal that magically makes everyone appear in the kitchen the second they smell the grill heating up.
But here’s the thing.
Most burgers follow the same pattern.
Beef.
Cheese.
Lettuce.
Tomato.
Bun.
Delicious? Absolutely.
Exciting? Maybe not always.
And that’s exactly why today we’re shaking things up with a burger that brings a little sunshine, a little sweetness, and a whole lot of flavor to the table.
Introducing the Hawaiian Surprise Burger — a juicy, flavor-packed burger topped with sweet pineapple, savory goodness, and just enough unexpected magic to make people stop mid-bite and say:

Grab the pineapple.
And let’s make a burger that tastes like summer vacation on a bun.
Why Sweet and Savory Burgers Are a Game-Changer
At first glance, pineapple on a burger might sound a little surprising.
But here’s the secret.
Sweet and savory flavors are actually one of the most powerful combinations in cooking.
Think about some classic flavor pairings:
• honey and ham
• maple and bacon
• teriyaki and grilled chicken
• salted caramel
Sweetness balances savory richness, creating layers of flavor that make each bite more exciting.
And when it comes to burgers, that balance is pure magic.
The juicy, savory beef pairs beautifully with the bright sweetness of pineapple, creating a flavor combination that feels bold, fresh, and just a little bit tropical.
Suddenly your burger isn’t just dinner.
It’s an experience.

What Makes the Hawaiian Surprise Burger So Special
So what exactly makes this burger a “surprise”?
It’s the unexpected combination of ingredients that come together in the most delicious way.
The star ingredients typically include:
• juicy beef patties
• sweet pineapple
• savory sauce or glaze
• melted cheese
• soft toasted buns
But the real magic happens when everything hits the grill.
The pineapple caramelizes slightly, bringing out its natural sweetness.
The burger gets that smoky char.
The cheese melts into all the layers.
And suddenly you have a burger that feels like it came straight from a beachside café.

Hawaiian Surprise Burger
The How:
1- Mix Seasoning, Beef, and eggs in a bowl (2 eggs to pound of meat)
2- Form your patties (however thick you like)
3- Cook pastrami (ours was just a microwaveable packet from Costco)
4- Cook Patties over a briquet grill (for best results)
5- Once patties are almost done apply the cheese (this type of cheese is typically really dry so a trick we do is dumping a little water into the grill and putting the lid on)
6- Pull off patties with melted cheese, and put buttered buns on grill to toast
7- Put together burger the burger, apply as much pastrami as wanted, and apply a generous amount of Ranch!
8- Eat your food and remember the number one rule: Get money, Get paid!
