Crockpot Ravioli Casserole
🍝✨ Crockpot Ravioli Casserole — Cozy, Cheesy, and Weeknight‑Winning
Cheesy ravioli, savory beef, and a crockpot that does all the work — basically dinner’s way of saying, ‘Relax, babe… I’ve got tonight handled.

Let’s talk about the kind of dinner that doesn’t just show up — it saves you. The kind that swoops in like a culinary superhero, cape fluttering, crockpot humming, and says, “Put the takeout menu down. I’m handling tonight.”
This Crockpot Ravioli Casserole is exactly that kind of meal. It’s warm, hearty, cheesy, saucy, and unapologetically comforting. It’s the kind of recipe that makes your family wander into the kitchen asking, “What smells so good?” even though you literally just lifted the lid.
This dish is a celebration of simple ingredients doing the absolute most:
- Cheese ravioli that turns into soft, pillowy pasta perfection
- Savory ground beef that adds richness and depth
- Marinara + tomato sauce for that slow‑simmered flavor without the simmering
- Garlic and onion that perfume the whole house
- Italian seasoning that brings the cozy, herby magic
- Mozzarella that melts into a blanket of cheesy joy
- Parsley for that fresh pop of green
It’s the kind of recipe that works for busy weeknights, cozy fall evenings, potlucks, Sunday dinners, or those “I need something delicious but also easy enough to make while wearing pajama pants” nights.
Why this casserole deserves a permanent spot in your rotation:
- It’s hands‑off — the crockpot does the heavy lifting
- It’s budget‑friendly — pasta + sauce + beef = big flavor, small cost
- It’s kid‑approved — ravioli is basically a guaranteed win
- It’s make‑ahead friendly — reheats beautifully
- It’s Instagram‑ready — melty cheese + saucy layers = perfection

Parent-teacher conferences were last week and this is the meal I came home to! We just went out and bought a new crockpot. By went out and bought, I mean I logged onto amazon and had it shipped to my house in two days.
It is wifi capable, which means it works with the wifi and I can change it from high to low or keep warm.
I’m so sick of having amazing meals that are ruined by overcooking the meat. Sometimes
I just don’t get home in time to turn it down and then I’m upset, well not anymore! This recipe was incredibly easy and delicious! Enjoy!

- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 (25 ounces) package of cheese ravioli
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1/4 cup parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a medium skillet on medium heat, put the oil, garlic, and the onions. Cook for about 5 minutes. Add in the ground beef, cook until it’s browned. Drain the grease.

Sounds perfect. When my vegetarian grandchild comes to visit next weekend, I’ll try it–substituting soy crumbles for the meat. Bet she’ll love it when it’s hot and waiting when we get back from our shopping trip.
This looks absolutely delicious! Plus, love that it is made in a Crockpot! Thanks for sharing your recipe with us at Merry Monday this week!
I can’t take how good this looks…and I just ate dinner! Thanks for sharing with us at Funtastic Friday!
This looks so yummy! I love crockpot meals!
Me too!
This looks incredible! I’m definitely going to make it!
Thank you!
Omg that really looks delicious. I’m definitely going to try this, crockpot idea is a plus????
Thank you!
I love ravioli and rarely make it. I’m going to have to give this recipe a try! Pinning! #HomeMattersParty
Can I use frozen ravioli?
I haven’t tried that but I’m sure you could
It’s in the crockpot now!! Thanks for the recipe 🙂
Awesome!
Are the ravioli frozen when you put in crockpot?
How many servings does this make? I am on Weight Watchers and would love to make this for my hubby and myself to eat this week or next.
about 6
Is the Parsley for Garnish? I cant find where it goes in the recipe and my local store didnt have any fresh parsley.
This is great! The first time we put frozen ravioli in the crockpot, the second time l thawed ravi first. The thawed kind of fell apart. Will not bother will defrosting next time. Kids have begged for this every week. Thank you!
I’d like to hear more about your crock pot! I asked for one at Christmas..but santa didn’t deliver it..so, in the search for one!
Thanks!
Birdie
you will love it if you get a crockpot! It can make meal preparation so much easier. You throw things in and dinner is served!
Check Dollar Stores or Wal-Mart for less expensive ones….they are a godsend in the winter and year-round if you have a busy schedule or are like me and have health issues that sometimes limit the time that you can be up and in the kitchen but still want to cook a real meal!
I have a ninja cooking system. Love it so much. Can use as crockpot or like stovetop and “oven”. Best purchase ever.
How would you change this if you made it in a instapot?
I saw your ravioli meal on your Pinterest site it looks very yummy. Could you please tell me the brand name and type of crockpot you got that is WiFi compatible. Thanks. I pray you are having a wonderful weekend.
Could it be prepped and refrigerated over night and cook the following day or would the noodles soak up too much sauce/liquid overnight??
Someone above mentioned she thawed the raviolis once and they got mushy…but how difficult would it be to stir them in to the crock pot mixture the next morning! Still easy peasy!!
My crockpot is 3-4 quart, will these servings fit in there or should I half the ingredients?
I’m not sure
I am going to make it with meat ravioli. I love crock pot meals.
you will love it!
Hello,
Could this be baked if there isn’t time for the crockpot? My ravioli has already thawed.
yes!
What temperature do you suggest if you were to bake in oven? Also, about how much time?
Thanks so much!
Great recipe! Flavorful and simple and perfect for a casserole crockpot. I used a pound of bulk hot Italian sausage in place of ground beef, gave it a nice little kick. Used frozen ravioli and it was done after 4.5 hours. The recipe says up to 8 hours…8 hours would be way too long! I recommend checking at 4 hours and then keep an eye on it after that. This one’s a keeper!
There’s a typo. It says “Through in the ground beef, cook until it’s browned.” I believe it should be throw.
thanks for telling us!
Could you be more specific on the timing? 5 – 8 hours? Hard to plan a meal with a 3 HOUR variation.
It depends how your slow cooker cooks. Some are extremely hot and others not as much. Normally 6 hours most recipes will be done.
