✨🔥 HOW TO CLEAN DRIP PANS WITH NO EFFORT
(Because scrubbing stove gunk is NOT part of your personality this year.)
Clean Drip Pans With No Effort! Are you wondering how to clean stove drip pans without smelly chemicals that’ll burn your nose hairs off? I was too.
Drip pans are the unsung heroes of the kitchen — they catch EVERYTHING. The spills. The splatters. The overflows. The “I swear I only turned away for two seconds” moments. And yet… we pretend they don’t exist until one day we look down and think:
- “How long has THAT been there?”
- “Is that… burnt cheese?”
- “Did I do this? Did someone else do this?”
- “Can I just throw the whole stove away?”
Drip pans get gross FAST. And cleaning them? Usually a nightmare.
Scrubbing. Soaking. Scrubbing again. Crying. Scrubbing some more. Wondering why you ever learned to cook.
But here’s the good news: You don’t have to scrub anymore. Not even a little. Not even a tiny bit.
This hack is:
- Fast
- Cheap
- Easy
- Magical
- And requires ZERO elbow grease
This post is your permission slip to:
- Stop scrubbing like a medieval peasant
- Stop pretending you’ll “get to it later”
- Stop letting your drip pans judge you
- And start cleaning like the domestic queen you are
✨ Reader Prompt : When was the last time you cleaned your drip pans… be honest.
Yeah…. Those filthy drip pans are mine. The oven is just the last thing on my mind to clean but, well, let’s just say it got to that point. I needed a method with little effort though because I hate cleaning, and this, I’m pleased to say, was definitely it!
Clean Drip Pans With No Effort
SUPPLIES:
Vinegar
Baking soda
Scrubber
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Soak drip pans in 9 parts water, 1 part vinegar for 1 hour
2. Remove drip pans from vinegar mixture. Pour baking soda on drip pans and spread evenly over the entire surface. Let it sit for one hour.
3. WITHOUT rinsing off the baking soda, use a scrubber to “scrub” the baking soda mixture off. The filth will magically come off with it!
4. Rinse under water and admire your sparkling drip pans!
*If they are not quite as perfect as you want them to be you can repeat the process. But… my words of wisdom to you would be they’re clean enough! Go do something fun!

🌟 BONUS: WHAT IF YOUR DRIP PANS ARE BEYOND SAVING?
Sometimes… they’re too far gone. Sometimes… they’ve seen things. Sometimes… they’ve lived a life.
If your drip pans are:
- Rusted
- Warped
- Burned beyond recognition
- Older than your marriage
Just replace them. They’re cheap. Your sanity is priceless.
✨ Reader Prompt: Have you ever replaced your drip pans, or are you loyal to the originals?

I did just the vinegar step and I was amazed. Had to do some minor scrubbing on the edges with baking soda, but I have never gotten the pans this clean. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, I usually toss them and buy new ones in BLACK! I will use your method now. Thanks!
Just wanted to say “Thanks!” The apartment we moved in to had probably never had the drip pans cleaned….they were SO GROSS!! Your method worked like a CHARM! It did require a bit of elbow grease, I’m not gonna lie…but honestly, it was a small amount of effort for a LOT of SHINE!! THANKS AGAIN!
Will this work with the black lined pans, I think it is like a Teflon maybe
Well I’ll be damned!!! It works!!! I was skeptical of it but was pleasantly surprised. I will say I was impatient. I only left baking soda on 1/2 hr but it still removed almost all the crud with little effort. I will be doing again and waiting the full hour. Thanks!!!
I use no fume oven cleaner. Just spray it on, wait a few minutes, and wash them clean.
thank you, for the help & the laugh (go have some fun)!!
we love hearing from you!
