Chuck a Rama Rolls!
🧡 Introduction: Rolls That Feel Like a Love Letter
Alright, fam. You know how some foods aren’t just food—they’re memories, they’re comfort, they’re that one bite that makes everything okay again. That’s what these rolls are. Soft, buttery, golden on the outside, and pillowy on the inside. And did I mention they’re practically foolproof? Yes, even if yeast intimidates you more than your teenage daughter’s mood swings, these babies have your back.
Whether you’re serving Sunday dinner, impressing your in-laws, or just vibing alone with Netflix and carbs (no judgment), this recipe will win hearts

🥰 Step-by-Step Directions (With Attitude)
- Heat the liquids: Combine the milk and water in a saucepan and warm until cozy (not boiling!). Remove from heat.
- Activate yeast: Add the sugar and yeast to the warm liquid. Stir and wait until it gets frothy—like a latte but way better.
- Mix the magic: In a large bowl, whisk eggs, salt, and melted butter. Add the yeast mixture and stir.
- Flour power: Add the flour one cup at a time, mixing until dough forms. Knead for 8–10 minutes, either by hand or with a dough hook. Think of it as your arm workout.
- Rise and shine: Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let the dough rise for 1 hour, or until doubled.
- Shape your future: Punch down the dough gently (so satisfying) and divide into 24 little balls. Place on a greased baking pan.
- Second rise: Cover and let them rise again for 30 minutes. They should look soft and inviting—like baby clouds.
- Bake: Pop them in a preheated oven at 375°F for 18–20 minutes, or until golden.
- Butter bath: Immediately brush with melted butter and try not to eat six right away.

👩🍳 Cooking Tips That’ll Make You Look Like a Kitchen Queen
- Warm Liquid, Not Hot Lava: When heating the milk and water, aim for warm—not molten! You want a cozy bath for the yeast, not a scalding death trap. 105°F–110°F is ideal.
- Activate That Yeast Like a Boss: Let it froth for 5–10 minutes before mixing. If it’s sitting there like it’s bored, your yeast might be expired. Sad face. 😢
- Dough Should Be Sticky but Playful: If it’s clinging to everything like a needy toddler, add a smidge more flour. If it’s dry and sad, splash in a tablespoon of milk.
- Let It Rise… and SHINE: Cover with a towel and let the dough do its thing. It should double in size and be nice and poofy.
- Butter = Love: Brush those rolls with melted butter before baking. And again after. Heck, maybe one more time just for good luck.

🎉 Recipe Variations to Keep It Spicy
- Garlic & Herb Rolls: Add 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp Italian seasoning to the dough. Sprinkle parsley post-bake.
- Sweet Cinnamon Rolls (mini version): Add 2 tbsp sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon to the dough, roll them smaller, and drizzle a simple glaze on top.
- Cheesy Dream: Stuff each dough ball with a pinch of shredded cheddar before baking. HELLO molten joy.
- Whole Wheat Warrior: Swap out half the flour with whole wheat flour for a slightly nutty, hearty version.

💬 Final Thoughts: The Roll That Rules Them All
There’s something wildly satisfying about baking bread from scratch. It’s a little old-school, a little therapy, and a whole lotta delicious. These buttery yeast rolls are the kind of thing that becomes tradition—the “my mom made these every Thanksgiving” kind of legacy recipe.
And if your family’s anything like mine, they’ll sniff out the smell from three counties away and start lurking like carb-hungry ninjas.
🥳 Bake, Brag, Repeat
So go ahead, flour up those countertops and get cozy with your dough. Share the love, the butter, and maybe (just maybe) save a few rolls for yourself. These rolls will steal the show every single time—whether you’re feeding the masses or just feeding your soul.
Now if you’ll excuse me… I’ve got a tray coming out of the oven and a butter brush with my name on it. Tag us on Instagram or comment below! We love hearing from you!

Shape the dough into how many rolls?
These are good rolls. Very good, but they aren’t the same as the original.
The rolls look nothing like the delicious ones in the picture. I suggest only cooking them for 12 minutes; 15 minutes was too long. Other than that the recipe is great and the rolls were delicious. Thank you for sharing.
thank you for that! Every oven is so different.
Do you happen to have their sweet butter recipe?
