Air Fryer Pigs in a Blanket
🐷 Air Fryer Pigs in a Blanket — The Snack That Steals the Show
If appetizers had a red carpet, these little cuties would be strutting down it in style.

Some snacks are quick. Some snacks are fun. But Air Fryer Pigs in a Blanket? They’re both — and then some. Flaky crescent rolls wrapped around juicy hot dogs, cooked to golden perfection in the air fryer, and ready in minutes. They’re the kind of snack that makes kids cheer, adults sneak seconds, and everyone ask, “Wait, are there more?”
They’re perfect for game day, after‑school snacks, or even a quirky dinner when you just don’t feel like cooking. Basically, they’re the MVP of finger foods.
💬 Reader prompt: Are you team “snacks for dinner” or team “snacks only belong at parties”?
If your children are picky eaters like mine, sometimes you have to just hurry and make them something on the fly. Honestly, I don’t know how other people do it. Greyson, used to not try anything and told me he only likes his sitter’s food. I started to make her food and then he told me it’s not the same.
Now, we’ve made a deal with him that if he tries it then I will let him have something else. Sometimes he tries it and finishes it, and sometimes he tries it and asks for something else. I count that as a win because there are no tears and he’s trying the different meals. Here is one meal we like to do when we are in a hurry.

Ingredients
- 1 can of crescent rolls
- 6 hot dogs

Directions
-
Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees.
-
Roll out crescent roll sheet pinch together perforations so it is one solid sheet.
-
Use a pizza slicer width-wise to slice 2″ long pieces.
-
Score each hot dogs 3 times on one side.
-
Start with the bottom of the crescent and hot dog and roll it up to the top so almost the whole hot dog is wrapped.
-
Spray inside of air fryer basket with non stick spray and place wrapped dogs inside.
-
Cook at 360 degrees for 5 minutes, then leave them inside the basket without opening it for 3 more minutes to continue to warm the inside of the meat.

💭 Final Thoughts
These Air Fryer Pigs in a Blanket are proof that simple ingredients can create something magical. With flaky crescent rolls and juicy hot dogs, they’re the kind of snack that makes everyone smile.
They’re also endlessly adaptable. You can keep them classic, go cheesy, or even turn them into breakfast. And because they’re so easy, they’re perfect for busy nights, parties, or cozy weekends.
Here’s the thing about finger foods — they’re never just snacks. They’re the reason people gather around the kitchen island, the smell of buttery dough filling the air, and the sound of laughter as everyone grabs “just one more.”
And these pigs in a blanket? They’re a little extra special. They’re quick, they’re fun, and they’re guaranteed to disappear faster than you can say “air fryer magic.” They’re the kind of snack that makes people pause mid‑bite and say, “Oh wow, these are amazing.”
But here’s what I love most: they’re a recipe that invites creativity. You can swap fillings, play with toppings, or even turn them into breakfast. They’re forgiving, flexible, and fun — just like the best kind of kitchen adventures.
So here’s my challenge to you: make them, share them, and tell me your twist. Did you go cheesy? Did you sneak in jalapeños? Did you eat three before they even made it to the plate? (No judgment — I’ve been there.) Snap a pic, post it, and tag it so we can all drool together.
💬 Reader prompt: Should we do a “Snack Series” next? I’m dreaming up air fryer mozzarella sticks, mini pretzel bites, and maybe even stuffed jalapeños.
Until then, may your crescent rolls be golden, your hot dogs juicy, and your kitchen full of laughter, love, and second helpings. Because at the end of the day, food isn’t just about filling our bellies — it’s about filling our lives with joy, connection, and a little sparkle. And these pigs in a blanket? They’re ready to do all three.
