We love books at our house. We buy a book almost every time we go to the store. Here are our Top 10 Toddler Books.
No matter how many books I buy, Grey consistently goes back to the same 5 books over and over again. It rotates between these 10. Now I know Christmas is coming up and I love to give Grey new books on Christmas and his birthday every year. This year I may add a puzzle or two because he’s been loving those lately too!
#1 – Llama Llama Red Pajama – Who would have thought my kid would say llama more consistently than he says, mom? Well, he does, he loves that book and when mom gives baby two kisses, I get two kisses. We love this book!
#2 – Little Blue Truck – This is also one of our favorites, Grey loves all the animals, trees, houses and the dump truck. We read this book daily. It has a really cute story.
#3 – Jamberry – This one has a train, it may be the main reason Greyson loves it but it has lots of fun colors and a good story.
#4 – Bulldozer Dreams – Have I mentioned Grey loves any kind of machine? Bulldozer dreams have really cute illustrations and is a fun story. We read this story a lot.
#5 – The Goodnight Train – Yet again another story with fun illustrations and a cute story. We love to go through and point out all of the animals and sounds in this book.
#6 – Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? – Lots of colorful animals and Grey loves all of the different colored animals.
#7 – My Race Car – Got this one at Seagull book for $2 and we read this one at least 3 times in one sitting. Great pictures!
#8 – Chicka Chicka Boom Boom – Fun book for the alphabet right now, Grey just loves how it rhymes and that there is a moon and trees.
#9 – Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site – This has all the different construction vehicles and what they all do. Obviously, for a kid with a construction room this is the perfect book.
