Wildflower Bridal Shower Inspiration! Love is in the air! It seems to happen every Summer. My cute niece, Lexi is getting married in August. We had the privilege of throwing her a bridal shower. It was a beautiful day for such an occasion and everything fell into place so easily. My mother-in-law has the perfect backdrop for this theme. She has a beautiful Walnut tree growing in her yard.

It provides the right décor as well as much-needed shade for July! I thought I would share with you what we did for the shower and maybe it can help someone planning their own shower or you can just enjoy it! I know I love seeing all the fabulous ideas on Pinterest and I’m always so inspired.

First of all, my son in law made me this fabulous backdrop last year for the Lou Lou Girls Shop and it has been used for so many different occasions. The simple frame combined with chicken wire is the perfect combination. The banner was made by Cassie. She found an old book at Desert Industries but she wants to warn that you need to look at the pages before hanging your banner. They might contain content not pleasing to the eye! lol! The paper flowers just seemed to finish off the look for the backdrop.

Lexi’s wedding theme is wildflowers and nature. We tried to focus on that much as we could.  Our wood crates were from Cassie’s wedding and we have used them over and over again. I love how they give a new dimension to the whole table. The stack waffles dusted with powdered sugar and topped with raspberries were a big hit!

The beautiful colors of the wildflowers in the mason jars seemed to be the perfect finishing touch for our display. The flowers were from Costco and who doesn’t have a ton of Mason jars in their cupboard? Amber was on drink duty! She made a delicious lemonade garnished with a lime. The cups had a border of sugar on the top rim.

If you want to get people’s attention, have a donut wall at your shower!

These cute little glass jelly jars were filled with granola, fruit dip and topped with fresh strawberries. Finish them off with a ribbon to hold your spoon or fork!

Who doesn’t need a little chocolate in their lives? We made a batch of our happy camper trail mix. A perfect mix for any picky snacker.

I love sending guests off with a little parting favor, just to say “thank you”! I found these darling wildflower seed packets on Amazon!

French toast sticks sitting in a pool of syrup is a perfect ending! I found plastic shot glasses on Amazon. I bought the frozen french toast sticks baked them until they were crispy and they were ready to party!

I love my niece, Lexi and I loved this shower! I hope we helped with your planning.
