Fall Weather Hacks

Fall Weather Hacks! Fall has always been my favorite time of year! I know that you have heard that from all three of us, but it’s the truth! The air is so crisp and yummy and not to mention the Fall leaves.

You have to set the mood to make everything perfect for your Fall décor and entertaining. I started searching around and found a few Fall Weather Hacks hacks that can help you on the right path!

Fall Weather Hacks

Make your Pumpkins Last Longer! I love putting pumpkins on my front porch for decorations but I’m always worried that they will rot before it’s time to crave them for Halloween. Go ahead and buy them! Just get a spray bottle and make a mixture of bleach and water. Spray the pumpkins and this will make them last!

Fan to the Rescue! Too many leaves on your deck and you don’t have a leaf blower? Grab your trusty fan and blow them away!

Pine cones! If you have Pine trees in your yard, you might have a lot of pine cones scattered around. Pine cones can look so cute in your Fall decorations, but before you start using them in your decor, bake them! Place them on a cookie sheet and place the oven on 200 degrees for an hour. This will get rid of any pesky little bugs.

DIY Fall Potpourri!  I love when the house smells good! You can either go to the store and pick up a bag or make your own! Simply add the peel of one orange, a sliced up apple, two large cinnamon sticks, a tablespoon each of cloves, almond and vanilla to a cup and half of water. Simmer on the stove top throughout the day. Make sure to add more water if you need to! Your house will smell amazing!

Dry Wet Boots with Newspaper: As the weather starts to get colder and wetter, you are going to have a house full of wet boots! A great way to help boots dry faster, is to stuff them with crumbled newspaper. This will absorb the moisture faster!
