Jodi’s Sausage Dip

At the first of September I shared a yummy appetizer dip that we found in our friend’s cookbook. Here is another yummy dip from Julie Boyack Smith’s cookbook, “Apron Strings”. My husband really enjoyed this dip! It tastes great on toasted baguettes or on crackers.
1 package mild sausage
1 package hot sausage
1 (16 ounce) sour cream
1 (8 ounce) cream cheese
3 chopped tomatoes or 1 can diced tomatoes
1 onion, chopped

  • Brown sausage in a large skillet
  • Pour sausage into crockpot, and add sour cream, cream cheese, tomatoes and onions.
  • Cook on high for up to 3 hours or on low for 6 hours.
