Meatball Sliders

 meatball sliders
As a you recall, it was Ben’s birthday a while ago and like all our children, we let them decide what their menu will be because its their birthday celebration! Ben had chosen The Enchilada Soup and he wanted sliders. My husband claims that I can’t just do one, so of course, we did three! This is the first one.
This so juicy and delicious, seriously, you won’t be able to stop eating them!

1 pound uncooked bacon strips
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup dry bread crumbs

3/4 pound mild sausage
1/2 pound ground beef

  • Place bacon in a food processor or blender and process until finely chopped.
  • In a large bowl, combine the milk, egg, bread crumbs, and onion and seasonings. Crumble the bacon, pork and beef over the mixture and mix well. Shape into 2 inch meatballs.
  • Place in an ungreased baking pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 160.
