Creamy Alfredo Sauce Recipe

Ever since I was little I remember my mom ordering Chicken Alfredo EVERY time we went out to eat. She never strayed…it was her FAV. A few years ago she found a yummy recipe somewhere that she shared with us and we’ve made a few adjustments to it over time.

We think it’s delicious and it’s actually low-carb. We don’t use any flour or starch to thicken the sauce. It’s thickened with time and LOVE. I know I’m strange, now on to the recipe.

Knock Your Socks Off Alfredo Sauce

5 Cloves of Garlic
1/2 c. Butter
1 pint Heavy Whipping Cream
3/4 c. Grated Parmesan Cheese
Salt to taste

Directions:

Start by pressing or finely mincing your garlic. Sauté garlic in butter in a medium-sized sauce pan until garlic becomes fragrant. Add heavy whipping cream and Parmesan cheese. Bring heat down to a low simmer. Stirring occasionally, let the sauce thicken to desired consistency, for about a half an hour. Add salt to taste. (If you don’t have any garlic, garlic powder works great too!)
Serve over your favorite type of noodle. Sometimes we like to serve this over zucchini noodles.
It’s also delicious with broccoli, chicken, steak, or shrimp on the top. Go crazy!
I hope you enjoy this, we sure do!
