💭 Final Thoughts

This Homemade Glade’s White Sauce is everything you want in a condiment: creamy, tangy, nostalgic, comforting, and ridiculously satisfying. It’s the kind of recipe that brings people together, sparks conversation, and makes everyone feel like they’re part of the fun.

It’s simple enough for a weeknight, impressive enough for a BBQ, and joyful enough for those “I need something delicious immediately” days.

There’s something magical about a sauce that tastes like it came from a beloved local restaurant but was made in your own kitchen. Something about mayo and buttermilk swirling together that feels nostalgic, indulgent, and just a little bit rebellious.

This Homemade Glade’s White Sauce is the kind of recipe that becomes a tradition — the dip your family requests again and again, the one you bring to neighbors, the one you whip up when you want your home to smell like happiness (and fries).

It’s the kind of food moment that makes people linger at the table. The kind that makes your kitchen feel warm and welcoming. The kind that makes you feel like you’ve mastered the art of fun, fearless cooking — even if you still set timers for everything.

So here’s your mission: Make this sauce. Share it with your people. Tell me your twist. Did you add garlic Did you add spice Did you sneak a fry before serving (I support all of it.)

Until then, may your sauce whisk smoothly, your fries crisp perfectly, your burgers shine brightly, and your kitchen overflow with laughter, love, and second helpings.

Homemade Glade’s White Sauce isn’t just a condiment — it’s a lifestyle. 🤍✨

  1. YAY! We came to Spanish Fork very summer while I was growing up – back in the 1950's and 60's and this was always a favorite! Then I raised my girls in that area from late 70's and into the 90's… we'd stop in when visiting my Aunt & Uncle in Spanish Fork… this will be a welcome addition to our recipes and will bring back MANY fond memories! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I moved from Utah to Florida almost 8 years ago. Glades white sauce is the one thing I have really missed! This recipe is pretty darn close to the real deal and will work until I come to visit again! Thank you!!

  3. I thought it had lemon juice in it? Its only 2 ingredients not 3? I use to work there but it was 15 years ago
