Backdrop for the Lou Lou Girls Shop! The Lou Lou Girls Shop needed a cute backdrop! My cute hubby Matthew made one for my mom!

If you haven’t already you should check out loulougirlsshop.com! My mom is selling the cutest clothes ever! She has always told me that she wanted to do a clothing store and the day has come. Matt build her this beautiful backdrop out of blue pine and chicken wire. Now if you know my husband he is quite the perfectionist and that is one of the many reasons I love him. I told him kind of what we were thinking and this is what he came up with. It is light and portable, perhaps a little awkward but we love it.

First, Matt ripped the wood so that is was cuter and gave the backdrop some dimension. Then using a staple gun he stapled the chicken wire to the inside of the frame. I would not recommend using chicken wire if you are not patient; it took a lot of time, it is super cute but a pain in the butt! Then he cut the wood in the back for support and nailed it on the inside of the frame over top of the chicken wire. Then he put hinges to hook the two sides together so that it could fold up easy. Last, he made stands which you can not see in this picture.
