It doesn’t take long before the kids start getting bored in the Summer. As a mom, you run out of activities for the family to do! I have a suggestion for you! You need to go visit The Living Planet Aquarium! I don’t know a kid that isn’t interested in some kind of animal. The great thing about the aquarium is that they have Ecosystems from around the world, including Journey to South America, Expedition: Asia, the Deep Sea, the South Pole, the Ocean and more.
They have so many extra activities people can do at the Aquarium, such as Animal Feeds, Animal Meet & Greets, Story Time, etc. Those events are listed on our calendar page at thelivingplanet.com/calendar.
I don’t know if your husband is like mine but he loves anything that is FREE! The aquarium has fun things that are free that you can participate in while you are visiting. The Aquarium has $5 Off Family Night every Monday, where a guest can get $5 off regular admission prices after 4:00 p.m. and the Aquarium is open until 8:00 p.m. There’s always something exciting happening at the Aquarium. In July they’ll be celebrating Shark Week! You better hurry, there are only a few days left of July! They are located at 12033 Lone Peak Pkwy, Draper, UT 84020.
I love when you can find a activity that any age of family member can enjoy. I can’t believe school is starting in a few weeks! This is a great opportunity to get your kiddos brains to start working early. So have your family put away their electronics and take some time to explore and make some lasting memories. I promise, your kids will remember this more than any fidget spinner, video game or even the latest story on Snapchat. What was your families last great adventure?
