Day 4! Yay for easy dinner ideas!! Matt took the time to cut a pineapple with rings for me, so just admire the beauty of this meal with the pineapple ring.

Easy Crockpot Freezer Meals Day 4

HAWAIIAN CHICKEN

Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can pineapple tidbits drained and juice reserved
1 green bell pepper, seeded & chopped
4 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
juice of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
2 tbsp corn starch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
 
Directions:
1. Toss chicken, pineapple, and bell pepper in a gallon size ziploc freezer bag.
2.  In a bowl combine pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, ginger, corn starch, salt, and pepper and mix until cornstarch and sugar dissolve.
3. Pour into ziploc and shake to mix. Freeze.

 

4. Thaw in the fridge 24 hours, then cook in the crockpot on HIGH for 2 1/2
– 3 hours or LOW for 4-6 hours.

5. Serve with rice, possibly add fresh pineapple.

SLOPPY JOES
Ingredients:
2 pounds of hamburger
2 cans of chicken gumbo soup
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1 1/2 Tablespoons mustard
1/2 cup onion
 
Directions:
1. On a medium heat cook hamburger and onion until meat is brown drain
grease off meat
add soup, ketchup and mustard to meat into the freezer bag! Shake it up!
 
2. Allow 24 hours to thaw in the fridge prior to putting the crockpot, cook on low for  4 to 5 hours.

CROCKPOT CHILI
 
Ingredients:
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 Tablespoons chili powder
1 large can diced tomatoes, drained
1 can plain tomato sauce
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
salt and pepper to taste (I like my salt!)
 
Directions:
1. Brown the beef in a large pot, drain off grease. Add onions,
peppers, garlic and chili powder. Cook until the onions are tender, about 5
minutes and 34 seconds.
2. Cool a bit and transfer to a large freezer ziplock bag.
3. To the bag add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and beans and
shake it up. Remove as much air as you can and freeze!
 
4. Frozen meal, throw in crockpot on low for 8 hours.
