As many of you know, I have an anxiety problem. My anxiety flares up when I let every day (and non-existent) stressors overwhelm me. Stress itself isn’t always a bad thing, but as we all know, too much of it is. The key for me to staying panic attack free is keeping stress from taking control. These are a few things you can do to do just that!

2. Writing: Writing out how I feel is always stress relieving and yet I get too lazy sometimes. When you write things out it is easier to explore your subconscious and makes it easier to figure out why you feel what you do.
3. Balloons: I know it sounds crazy but there is something so calming and fun about bouncing a balloon around. This is especially useful if you’re waiting for something because it can distract you from your nerves.
4. Bubbles: Blowing bubbles works a lot like the balloons. There is just something about them slowly drifting through the air. If you have a decision stressing you out go lay in bed and blow some bubbles!
5. Music: Music is an awesome stress reliever! I have a playlist on my Spotify called “Mental Health” that’s full of songs that relieve my stress. Whenever I feel the stress starting to get to me I’ll blast it out and sing along until I feel better.
