Homemade Candy Shell

Matt loves ice cream! In usual fashion he came up with this idea for the blog. He insisted on cutting the ice cream into cubes to give it a different look. I think it looks pretty great! Also, discussing Matt, every time we go to Costco he insists that we need to buy coconut oil, because he heard it has many uses. This was the perfect excuse for him to buy the coconut oil. Not only was it to make ice cream better, but it helped me come up with a blog post! My husband is number one! This is literally the best candy shell you will ever try. He used the best chocolate you can get!

1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
1 cup Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Chips

In a microwavable bowl, place the coconut oil and in put in the microwave for 20 seconds. Stir and add the chocolate chips, continue to stir until the chocolate is blended. If it needs to be melted more, continue to melt in the microwave at 15 second intervals. Until well blended. DO NOT STORE IN THE FRIDGE!!! Add to your ice cream and enjoy!!
