DIY “I Love You Because” Board

This is such an easy do it yourself project and it is soo awesome to have hanging in your house! It’s a really good way to get in some words of affirmation to meet someone’s love language needs. (If you have no clue what I’m talking about click here to take the quiz!) it’s been fun writing back and forth with my husband and I’m totally going to put one outside each of my kids bedrooms!

ITEMS NEEDED:

Wood decor from craft store
Chalkboard spray paint
String
Chalk
Wet erase chalk board marker

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Spray the decor with chalkboard spray paint.

2. Write “I love you because…” With the wet erase marker.

3. Attach the chalk with the string and write someone a note!

  1. So cute! Something like this would be fun to have in the kitchen. I think my kindergartner would love writing messages back and forth to me and his daddy. So I have a question for you guys, you seem like a pretty nice sized popular blog, and I notice you're still using blogger. We're using blogger and everyone is all the rage about switching and using word press. Do you guys like blogger? Do you have any issues with it, and why have you not decided to switch? I know, kind of random questions, but I was hoping you could enlighten me with your blogger thoughts. And thanks!! Your blog is awesome 🙂

  2. I love this idea. It is so cute. I am constantly leaving notes for my kids and husband, this is a much cuter way to have those little words get to them. Thank you for sharing at the snickerdoodle sunday link party!

  3. I love this! I was trying to do little hand written notes like this but this is so much better! I want one for sure. Thanks so much for linking it up to Snickerdoodle Sunday!
