I love when I discover a recipe that works in my crockpot and is so delicious that my husband can’t stop eating it!!! This scrumptious recipe will have your taste buds dancing. The meat is so tender that you can shred the meat with a fork. I bought a HUGE roast and there wasn’t any leftovers by the next day.
3 pound roast
1 cup beef broth
1 cup Peppercini peppers
1 stick of butter, cut in chunks
2 packets of Italian dressing, dry
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 onion, chopped
· Place roast in the crockpot and add beef broth, peppers and butter.
· Add the remaining ingredients. Cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours.
· Remove roast from the crockpot and shred meat with your fork.
· We served it on a toasted bun with provolone cheese. My husband loved a nice juicy tomato on top! No sauce required, this meat is full of flavor!
