I don’t know about you, but I love those ‘LIfe Hack’ posts that you seen online all the time that give you tips and tricks to make your life easier. I’m going to call this my first every ‘life hack’ recipe…
We took the kids bowling for family night this week and the kids got to pick where we ate, of course they chose the bowling alley here in Cedar. We hadn’t been bowling for years and we hadn’t ever eaten there, so the kids were really excited to try something new. Needless to say, we ordered way too much food, and had an especially large amount of fries left over.
I usually just throw fries away, because you can’t just heat them up in the microwave, well… you can but they’re bleh! Anyway, we brought our fries home because we’re cheap and we hate wasting (my husband is a financial planner), so in the morning Mikey cooked up our left over fries for breakfast.
They were so good, and so easy to make, and you might as well save those fries from now on.
Here’s what we did…
Chop the fries up into bite-sized pieces. Sautee an onion in a little bit of olive oil in frying pan, add fries, bacon bits, cover with your favorite cheese and serve!
These were crispy and delicious and saved Mikey a lot of time. Normally, crispy hash browns take forever! These were quick and delicious! Enjoy!
