Carmel Apple Cider

Lately, I have been obsessed with Starbucks carmel apple spice drink, but they are so expensive and in an effort to save money I decided to make my own version. Turns out to be way, way, way cheaper. I bought a bottle of apple juice, can of whipped topping, carmel and everything else I had in my cupboard. This is just what I’m guessing is in it, I think I got it pretty close though!

I dumped all of the apple juice in the crock pot, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and whisked it together. Then I let it get hot. Once it was to my desired temperature which took about 2 hours on high, I put a little whip cream on top, drizzled the carmel and added a dash of cinnamon. I think it tastes just like it, but I may be a little biased. Hope you like it!!!
