If your family loves cheeseburgers, they will love this casserole! Quick and Easy but it will taste like you slaved over the stove. Its always a challenge to find new things to make, so you don’t feel like your stuck making the same old thing over and over again.
2 cups(6ounces) cooked pasta- choose your favorite!
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 1/2 cups onions, chopped
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 Tablespoons tomato paste
28 ounce can diced tomatoes
2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with your cooking spray.
- In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Combine the onions, garlic and hamburger and cook until browned. Season with the salt and pepper. Stir in the tomato paste, then add the tomatoes and the mustard. Let the mixture bubble gently until it is slightly thickened. It will take about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Toss the meat mixture with the pasta and spread into the baking dish. Top with cheddar and bake until the cheese is melted and gooey! 15 to 20 minutes to bake. Sprinkle the pickle on the top of the casserole.
