Best Mud Mask Facial

mud-mask-facial (1)A few months ago my awesome little sister Andie came to visit! We always have fun together and I love her stinking guts! Everyone says she’s my mini me. We both have a lot of sass and we’re both really fun, at least we both think we are really fun!
Anyway, Andie and I were on a mission to have a beauty day, so we made our way to health store. Initially we were looking for clay to make a body wrap, but that didn’t work out so well. Using the clay as a wrap was really messy and neither of us lost any inches. We thought the purchase was a fail until we noticed that you could use the clay as a face mask! I was excited because I have always loved a good mask.
This is serious business folks! This stuff really sucks the junk out of your face!
Here’s what you do for your face mask.
1. Mix Apple Cider Vinegar and the Aztec Secret Bentonite Clay in a small bowl until it makes a thick paste. Remember how we already talked about how great Apple Cider Vinegar is for your skin here? Check it out if you haven’t already seen Momma Kim’s post.
2. Pack the stuff on your face. Go crazy, the thicker the better.
3. Let the mask dry on your face for about 10-15 minutes. You will feel the mask working. Your face literally starts pulsing.
4. Use warm water and a cloth to wash it off.
5. Follow with your favorite moisturizer.
It’s not easy getting it off, but after it comes off your face feels great. I use it about once a week, when I have enough time to let it set.

I love accidentally finding fun beauty products. And cheap ones at that. The clay was only $10 dollars and it will last me a REALLY LONG time. It’s huge. I already had the apple cider vinegar on hand, but you can find it any grocery store. Give it a try! I think you’ll really like it!!
What are your favorite home made beauty products?? I really want to know!
