Do you love ice cream? We do!!!!! Making ice cream in a bag is a fun activity to do
on a HOT Summer day!
This project only takes a few ingredients; combine the cream, sugar and
vanilla in the pint bag. I would double up the pint bags because sometimes they
split open and ruins the ice cream and make sure it’s closed tightly. Combine the salt and ice cubes to the gallon Ziploc bag and
then put the pint bag into the gallon bag.
Make sure the gallon bag is sealed tightly. Then shake and roll the bag until the mixture hardens. Its takes about 10 to 15 minutes depending on what kind of salt you use with the ice. I would recommend doing this outside to avoid making a mess!
1 cup of Whipping Cream (you can use
half and half)
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 tablespoon Sugar
½ cup Salt (Kosher or Rock salt
works best, but you can use table salt)
Ice cubes (enough to fill each
gallon bag about half full)
2 1 pint size Ziploc bags
1 gallon size Ziploc bag
This will be a serving for one. Have
fun add your favorite toppings, you can even add them to the mixture to make
