Mally’s Bridal Shower!

Mally’s colors were pink and navy blue!

We ordered labels from Oriental Trading Company. Not a bad price
and easy to put on the bottles. They will put the names and date of the wedding
on the label for no charge.

Ingredients
Yellow cake
mix
3 eggs
½ cup oil
¾ cup
buttermilk
1 cup sour
cream
24 Oreos
You also
can use white chocolate cream cheese frosting
8 oz cream
cheese
½ cup
butter
1 teaspoon
vanilla extract
3-4 cups
powdered sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven
to 350 degrees
Separate Oreo
sandwiches and place one in each cupcake
Mix eggs,
oil, buttermilk and sour cream until combined
Add to cake
mix (for easy mixing sift cake mix)
Fill cupcake
liners 2/3 full over Oreos. Make sure to gently shake the pan side to side to
allow the batter to settle. (if not, the cupcakes will have tall peaks from the
Oreos at the bottom)
Bake according
to back of cake mix, usually it will not take the full baking time
Frosting:
combine cream cheese and butter and whip until light and smooth. Add vanilla
and as much powdered sugar as needed.
Have fun
with the Oreos. You can crumble them up and put them in the batter, or put the
whole Oreo in the middle of the cupcake. You can also split the cookie in half
by gently cutting it.
The shot glass dessert was so easy to put
together. I layered cookies, vanilla pudding, strawberry danish dessert with
strawberries and homemade whip cream. You can order the dessert spoons from
Amazon.

 The
sugar cookies have wafer paper on them. We ordered them from Fancy Flour. We
cut them out with scissors and they stick better to the cookies if they have
tons of icing. The wafer paper doesn’t taste that great but its a show stopper!

Caramel Popcorn

We had a tree
branch in a jar filled with rocks. I found a leaf online and made copies, and
then I cut them out. I attached the leaves to the branch with mini clothes
pins. We asked the guests to write advice to the bride on
the leaves.

The lollipops were purchased from Oriental
Trading Company. You have to put the sticker on the front but it’s a nice
finishing touch!
