Reese’s Brownies

Nothing says love more than chocolate and peanut butter! It’s literally the best combination known to man kind. I love it so much, I married a man with the Reese name! Anyways, on Sunday my young women always beg me to make a treat. These were the bomb! Give them a try!

Ingredients
Brownies
1 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 tablespoons vanilla
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 cup peanut butter

Frosting
1/4 cup butter softened
4 oz cream cheese
4 tablespoons whipping cream
1/4 cup cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar

Topping
30 mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, quartered
1 cup peanut butter chips

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 pan.
2. In a large bowl or stand mixer combine butter, salt, cocoa and vanilla. Mix in the sugar and then add the eggs one at a time. Add in the flour and peanut butter and mix until smooth. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 21 to 24 minutes. Then remove from the oven and let it cool.
3. While brownies cool prepare frosting by beating butter, whipping cream and cream cheese in stand mixer until fluffy. Slowly add in the cocoa and the powdered sugar until it’s smooth. Then spread over cool brownies.
4. Sprinkle on toppings. Cut into squares and serve!
