Sour Cream Banana Bread

Sour Cream Banana Bread

Sour Cream Banana Bread! I’ve always loved my mom’s banana bread but this was a little different and way good. It was crusty out the outside and gooey on the inside!

At our last tournament, we bought a bunch of fruit, but apparently, no one likes bananas. So we went home with a bunch of bananas! I was able to make 4 loaves of bread and have bananas for a week. We handed these loaves out because they were absolutely delicious.

Sour Cream Banana Bread

Ingredients
1 stick of butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup of sour cream
3 very ripe bananas, mashed (medium to large)

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a loaf pan set aside.
2. In a stand mixer whisk together the butter and sugars. Add the eggs one at a time and vanilla and whisk smooth.
3. Sprinkle the flour, baking soda, and salt over the butter mixture to stir and mix until combined. Fold in the bananas and sour cream.
4. Put batter into the pan and bake for 60 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool until warm before serving.
